The ELITE comes standard with a 1/4" diameter AMSTEEL-BLUE® synthetic cable rated at 9,300 lbs in either Blue, Red, or Green cable. The AMSTEEL-BLUE® is internationally patented and is widely regarded to have the best abrasion and environmental resistance of any synthetic cable. Generic knock-offs that don’t have the name AMSTEEL-BLUE® will be quickly compromised and lose their strength due to the harsh conditions of off-road riding. Just more evidence as to how VIPER only offers the best.
The ELITE also has a wireless remote switch as standard in addition to the mini-rocker switch. It also spools in and out with a new “Whisper” greasing system that has made this winch almost silent - you will have to watch the cable come in to know you're actually using it. And last but not least, it comes with a full 2 YEAR factory warranty against any manufacturing defects.
Finally, the ELITE comes standard with all the goodies you've come to expect from Viper winches. This includes a waterproof winch cover, a 8,000lb snatch block, and now a premium rubber line saver. Wiring, the hardware, hawse fairlead, clevis hook, universal fairlead mount plate, and logo hand strap are also included. If you have a mount plate already, or if you have a "winch ready" machine, this is all you'll need. Otherwise, check our model specific pages for custom mount kits. The Elite winches have a standard 4 bolt winch mounting pattern of 3" x 4.871". The SE winches have the longer spool & thus have the longer 3" x 6.66" mounting pattern. The standard Elite has 40' of the Amsteel Blue cable installed & the Elite SE has 55' of cable.
Please note - the Universal mount plate that is included with these winches will only mount to a flat surface or to a "winch ready" ATV
